PU Issues First Installment List of Successful Candidates For Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarships

University of the Punjab has just released the list of the successful candidates for the first Installment of Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme. According the issued list by the university total 1381 candidate have  been selected for the respective scholarship programme.

In this regard, the university has asked the Head of Department of the concerned Departments to verify their selected aspirants according to the issued list. Furthermore, the university officials have also stated that if there is any query regarding the release of First installment then you can contact freely at Student Financial Aid Office.

About Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarships 

Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarships launched by the Prime Minister of Pakistan last year for the aspirants belonging to the low-income families. It is considered as one of the largest ever needs-based undergraduate scholarship program in the history of Pakistan. Inclusive, 50,000 scholarships will be granted every year to the deserving students to improve financial access to higher education.

Salient Feature of Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme

1. As per the details 2, 00,000 undergraduate scholarships will be granted to students in 4 years. 

2. 50 percent scholarships have been reserved for Female candidates. 

3. These scholarships will cover the full tuition fee

4. Preference will be given to the disabled students and the students from underprivileged regions.

Eligibility Criteria for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program

The Undergraduate regular students enrolled in affiliated government sector universities are eligible to apply. The aspirants who are availing any other scholarships or grants are ineligible to apply for these scholarships.
