PU Introduces Two Year Associate Degrees For Affiliated Colleges

Punjab University has introduced the two-year associate degrees for the Affiliated Colleges that includes an Associate degree in Account and Finance and Associate Degree in Commerce. According to the sources, the students of the affiliated colleges can take admission in these programs from the academic year 2020-21.

The principal of the Hailey College of Commerce, Professor Dr. Zulfiqar Ahmed said that these degree programs will meet the modern requirements of the professional fields. As per the guidelines of the Higher education commission of Pakistan the courses are designed and the major focus is provided to the information technology in the curriculum. After completing the degree the candidates can start their future career by grabbing the available opportunities related to their field. He furthermore added that the government as well as the private colleges can contact the Punjab University for the affiliation.
