PU IAGS arranged workshop on dengue management

Lahore (Press Release): Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAGS) conducted a workshop on “Dengue Management”. On this occasion Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Javed Iqbal Qazi, Director ORIC Prof Dr Aamir Ijaz, Head, Research & Development Cell, Dengue Research, Punjab Prof Dr Waseem Akram, Additional Director General Health, Punjab Dr Islam Zafar, Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider, Dr Idrees Khan from CEMB, Dr Shahid Majeed UAF, Dr Somia Iqtedar KEMU, Prof Dr Farkhanda Manzoor from LCWU and Dr Shahbaz Ahmad were present.

The guest speakers discussed about the dengue management and told the preventive measures from Dengue mosquitoes. In his speech Dr Saleem told that IAGS will conduct a series of such workshops on Dengue Awareness in future. The guest of honors appreciated the efforts of Prof Dr Saleem Haider for arranging such a fruitful workshop. Later, ‘Dengue Awareness Walk’ was also arranged.
