PU granted five PhD degrees to Scholars

Recently University of the Punjab has granted five PhD degrees to the doctors in which Rashida Ahmad Daughter of Muhammad Ahmad Pakistan Studies subject after approval of her thesis titled as “Tradition and Modernity in Madrassah Education in Punjab (Pakistan): A Analytical Study”, Sabeen Sabri Daughter of Ijaz Ahmad Sabri in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics subject after approval of her thesis titled as “Studies on the Role of NS3 and NS5A Non-Structural Genes of Hepatitis C Virus Genotype 3A Local Isolates in Apoptosis”, Sidra Naeem Daughter of Muhammad Naeem Akhtar in Persian subject after approval of her thesis titled as “Contribution of Imam Bukhas Sahbai Towards Persian Language & Literature”, Shahid Mahmood Adil Son of Hashmat Ali in the subject of Economics after approval of his thesis titled as “An analysis of the Effects of Fiscal Decentralization on Economic Growth: A case for Pakistan” as well as a scholar Asma Hamid Daughter of S.A. Hamid in Home Economics subject after approval of her thesis titled as “Bio-Chemical Evaluation of Dietary Fibers from Different Sources and Their Effect on the Physiological Functions” has been granted with PhD degrees by Punjab university.
