PU declares various supply exams results 2013

Lahore, University of the Punjab, Examinations Department has announced various examinations’ results for the supplementary exams conducted in 2013.  The results have been declared of MA Archeology Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA Economics Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA English Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA Fine Arts Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA History Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA Political Science Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MA Urdu Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MSc Chemistry Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MSc Mathematics Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MSc Physics Part 1 supplementary exam 2013, MSc Space Science Part 1 supplementary exam 2013 and MSc Zoology Part 1 supplementary exam 2013.

 

An Indian delegation comprised of Dr Shamim Hanfi, Dr Abul Kalam Qasmi and Dr Durdana Qasmi visited PU Oriental College’s Department of Urdu. at this occasion literary academics of Pakistan were also present including Dr Khalid Iqbal Yasir, Dr Mirza Hamid Baig, Dr Khalid Mehmood Sanjarani, Dr Saeed Khawar Bhutta, Dr Muhammad Saeed, Dr Ghafir Shahzad, Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Virk, Amjad Ali Shakir, Dr Aurangzaib Niazi and renowned writer Intizar Hussain beside Chairman Department of Urdu Dr Muhammad Kamran, Prof Emeritus Dr Khwaja Muhammad Zakriya, Dr Muhammad Fakhar ul Haq Noori, Dr Zahid Munir Amir, Dr Basira Ambreen, Dr Zia ul Hassan, Marghoob Hussain Tahir, Dr Nasir Abbas Nayyar, Arfa Shahzad and a huge number of students.

 

The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence. 

 

The university has a great importance for higher education and are playing its worth role in this regard.
