Lahore: University of the Punjab Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) along with Liaoning Communication University, China to boost up the academic cooperation.
The agreement is targeted at promoting the academic cooperation among the two educational institutes by offering internships, organizing seminars, conferences as well as the workshops.

The two universities will invite their faculties to work on mutual publications.
The Liaoning Communication University is recognized by the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, Liaoning Communication University (LNCU).
The MoU signing ceremony was organized at the Institute of Communication Studies. Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences Dean Prof Dr Zakria Zakar and the in charge of ICS Savera Shami as well as its faculty members were also present there.

The vice president of Liaoning Communication University Prof Xu Ying represented the Chinese side. The applicants discussed different regions of mutual interest and stressed on the requirement to improve the academic relations on higher level.
