PU CEES signs MOU with PCRET for promoting renewable energy technologies

Lahore (Press Release): Punjab University College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Pakistan Council of Renewable Energy Technologies (PCRET) Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan, to promote renewable energy technologies in Pakistan. On this occasion, Principal CEES Prof Dr Sajid Rashid, Director General PCRET Dr Suhail Zaki Farooqui and faculty members present.

The basic objective of the MoU is to promote renewable energy in Pakistan regarding integrated approach on man power training, innovation, promotion and execution in different renewable energy technologies e.g. solar energy, windmill, biomass etc. Through the MOU, the CEES and the PCRET express their willingness to cooperate in the interest of fulfilling their respective regulatory mandates.
