PU announces various exams date sheets and admission schedules

Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has announces admission schedule and date sheets of various exams. According to the declared notification, the application form and fee for BS (4-years program) 2nd semester examinations 2013 can be submitted till Oct 11 with single fee while with double fee till Oct 14, 2013. The exams will start from Oct 22, 2013.

In the meantime, PU has also has issued written date sheets for the BS.Ed First, second and third professional 2nd annual examination 2012 and 1st annual examination 2013, revised date sheet for the MBBS (New Re-Organized Scheme)second professional annual examination 2013 while LLB Part 1, 2 and 3 second annual examination 2013. The exams of LLB part 1, 2 and 3 will be started from Nov 20, 21 and 23 respectively.

A seminar on “Policy Adequacy and Awareness Seminar on Agriculture Financing” was conducted on Thursday at PU Institute of Agricultural Science (IAGS) in collaboration of State Bank of Pakistan.

The seminar was attended by PU IAGS Director Prof Dr Saleem Haider, Senior Joint Director State Bank of Pakistan Muhammad Ammad-ud-Din, Head of Agri and Agri SME Faisal Bank Ali Raza, Adam G Insurance’s Syed Ahmer Shoaib and Head of Agriculture, Finance Department Chaudhry Qaiser Iqbal. Ammad-ud-Din guided the candidates about the financing program in agriculture sector. Dr Saleem Haider emphasized the demand of loans for the farmers and also informed the students about the scholarships which are giving by the bank. For this purpose, the agricultural sections of State Bank and also of other commercial banks have been organized for the direction of students.
