All the private schools of Islamabad will reopen today after the surprise week-long holidays over what they called the extreme weather.

Last Monday (25th January 2016) most of the privately-owned educational institutes in the city turned away the parents when they took children to their relevant campuses in the morning.

However, no reason was mentioned instantly for this step, most of the parents assumed it occurred because of the possibility of terrorist threats caused by the recent Charsadda University butchery by Taliban, the authorities later attributed it to the severe cold as well as foggy situations.

Far ahead in the day, the parents were informed by the schools regarding the postponement of classes for minor students particularly of Montessori as well as the first grade till 31st January 2016 asserting the intense fog as well as cold can harm the health of children.

The development concurred along with the announcement of Punjab government for the one-week shutting of schools and colleges, both of government as well as private sectors, in Punjab for the same cause.

The privately-owned educational institutions in all over the Punjab will resume classes today (Monday).
