Private schools reopen after summer vacations

Most of the private schools of the city have reopened after summer vacations and students have moved to their classrooms.

While the government-run schools will reopen on September 1st in harmony with the declaration of Sindh government which has announced late in June that all schools and colleges would remain closed from July 1 to September 1 for the summer vacation.
 
The final decision, made by the provincial government out of deliberation for students and teachers on the basis of Ramazan, produced confusion about the summer vacation, as some private schools had already closed for the vacation before the statement.
 
In order to clear the confusion, the government later permitted the private schools to observe the June-July summer vacation after taking permission. The senior education minister had protected the summer vacation judgment but confessed that the announcement had come late. Education department was recognized with aim to fulfill states responsibility to provide basic education to its people.  .
 
The prime objective of the department is to look after the educational affairs within the province and co-ordinate with Federal Government and contributor agencies regarding promotion of education in the province.
 
After devolution the primary education is being given out by the District Government, but still Education department plays supervisory role of Primary education and manages Secondary education, Technical Education, incentive programs, development schemes.
