Prime Minister’s Youth Internship and Laptop Scheme to be started in February

Lahore, Prime Minister’s Youth Internship Scheme and Laptop Schemes are going to be started in February and April under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.  The youth Internship scheme will start in the month of February 2014 while Free Laptop scheme will be started in the month of April 2014.

For the Youth Internship Scheme students will be eligible with 16 years of education and they will get stipend of RS 10,000 to 15,000. All pre-requisites measures are taken to begin this scheme under the supervision of Chairperson of Youth Program, Mariam Nawaz and arrangement are on final stage.
 
The first draw of PM Youth Business Loan Scheme will be held by in PM Nawaz Sharif while the announcement of internship scheme will be made in February. PM Nawaz Sharif asked the government officials to take all possible steps to invite the educated, skilled and ambitious youth for this scheme and provide them all the details of scheme.

The details to apply for internship scheme are, 16 years of education, matric with 3 year Technical/Vocational Diploma Holders, Health Technician, Sub-Engineers, Pre-Medical Staff, Agriculture Livestock Technician can apply. Age limit is 30 year. Internship duration will be 6 months and students.
 
The internship would not be given to employed persons. The program aims to offer training to the internees to improve their professional skills and capabilities. It is a full time internship program and the internees must follow the rules and regulations to apply for this scheme.
