PPSC Invites Job Applications For the Different Departments

Punjab public service commission has invited the job applications for the different departments in which the male and female candidates can apply. The interested candidates can check the job requirements, eligibility criteria, and the other details that are as follows. 

Agriculture Department Government of Punjab

1.Assistant Director of Agriculture (BPS-18)

The candidates are required to have the minimum academic qualification of MSc in agriculture entomology or plant pathology from a recognized university with 3 years post qualification experience in the field of pest warning & quality control of pesticides. The age limit for the male is 35 years and for the female 38 years. 

2.Deputy Director of Agriculture (BPS-18)

For the post of the deputy director of agriculture (plant protection) the candidates should have a MSc (Hons.) in the second division in agriculture entomology or plant pathology from the recognized university. Moreover, the candidates must have 5 years of post-qualification experience in the field of pest warning & quality control of pesticides. To apply for this post the age limit of the male is 45 years and the female is 48 years. 

3.Agricultural Officer (BPS-17)

15 posts are vacant for the job position of the agricultural officer. The applicants should have MSc in agriculture entomology or plant pathology from a recognized university. For this position, the age limit for the male is 33 years, and for females 33 years.   

Mines and Minerals Department

1.Manager of Information Technology (BPS-18)

The candidates should have the minimum academic qualification of MS in information technology/computer science/software engineering from HEC recognized university along with three years post qualification experience in the relevant field. The age limit for the male is 45 years and for females 48 years. 

2.Deputy Manager (BPS-17)

The candidates must have the qualification of BSc Mining Engineering/MSc Geology/MSc Applied Geology to apply for this post. The age limit for the male is 35 years and for the female 38 years. 

3.Database Administrator (BPS-17)

The applicants having a BS degree in Information technology or computer science or software engineering from the university recognized by the higher education commission are eligible to apply for the post of data administrator. Moreover, one year of post-qualification experience in the relevant field is also required. The age limit for the male is 35 years and for the female 38 years. 

Livestock and Dairy Development Department

1.Veterinary Officer (BPS-17)

To apply for the post of veterinary officer, the candidate must have a D.V.M degree from the recognized university, having valid registration with Pakistan veterinary medical council. The age limit for the male candidates is 35 years and the female candidates 38 years. 

Public Health Engineering Department

1.Deputy Director (BPS-18)

For this post, the candidates must have the minimum qualification BSc in Civil engineering from the recognized institute or equivalent qualification with 7 years of experience in the relevant field. The preference will be given to the candidates having an MSc in Civil engineering with 3 years of experience. The age limit for the male is 45 years and for the female 48 years. 

2.Assistant/Head Clerk (BPS-16)

To apply for this post of an assistant, the candidates should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The age limit for the male candidates is 30 years and for female candidates 33 years. 

3.Assistant Accounts Officer (BPS-17)

The candidates must have the qualification of B.Com (Hons.)/ MBSM/ ACCA/ M.Com/ Inter/CA with a minimum of two year’s practical experience in the relevant field. For this post, the age limit for the male is 35 years, and for the female 38 years.
