Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has announced that the digital and automated admission system for the medical and dental colleges will be launched soon. The main purpose is to ensure transparency and integrity so that the eligible students can take admission without facing any trouble. In this way, the students can select the colleges according to the choice and requirements. Moreover, the PMC also informed that only for the academic session 2021 the PMC will undertake the admission to the private colleges.

Announcement For Foreign Students

PMC has also made a big announcement regarding foreign and overseas students. As per the latest policy announced, for session 2021, the candidates can apply with the SAT-II result without appearing in the medical and dental college admission test. It is informed to the students that  this relaxation has been given to the foreign candidates due to the COVID-19 as in the current situation it is not possible for the students to take the national MDCAT. From the next academic session, the candidates that want to take admission to the medical and dental college have to appear in the MDCAT in order to determine their eligibility to enroll in MBBS and BDS.

National MDCAT 2020

The registration of the national MDCAT will be started in the next week as the test will be held on 15th November 2020. According to the PMC, NUMS will administer the test and the test centers will be set up all across Pakistan.
