Pakistan Medical Commission has notified that it is mandatory for all Medical and Dental Colleges to follow the fee regulations as defined in the Pakistan Medical Council, Medical and Dental Undergraduate Admission Regulations 2021, section 9 (5). Section 9 includes the Payment & Charging of Fee by College. These regulations state that:

(5) “A student shall have the right to pay the tuition fee on a quarterly, six-monthly or annual basis to the college. A student paying the college on a six-monthly basis in advance shall be granted a two percent discount in the tuition fee and a student paying the college on an annual basis in advance shall be granted a four percent discount in the tuition fee”

The fee submission criteria vary for students. The students are granted discounts according to their fee submissions as follows:

  • 2% discount at tutition fee on quarterly fee payment
  • 4% discount at tutition fee on annual fee payment

All medical and dental colleges are required to facilitate students according to these terms. It should be noted that the fee structure varies at different public and private sector institutes in Pakistan. The private sector medical colleges have comparatively higher fees than the government medical colleges. 

All Medical and Dental College are hereby informed to follow the above-mentioned regulations for the payment of the fee for the session 2022. The regulation applies to all the students who are currently enrolled in any year of the Pakistan Medical and Dental College.
