PEF issues 3 Lakh Vouchers to deserving students in Punjab

Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has set up free of cost school education for more than 3 lakh male and female eligible students in more than 1200 associated schools under Education Voucher Scheme (EVS) throughout the province.

Chairman of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja said while conversing to the district coordination meeting of school heads partnering under Education Voucher Scheme at the auditorium of Multan Arts Council on Tuesday, that this schooling has actually set up to facilitate all those students who study in other half schools of their own choice in their regions. The association partners of this education scheme from eight southern districts also involving Multan attended the meeting.

He moreover said that our voucher based education scheme has an objective to educate the needy students till matric level; he also added in his conversation that this program has been found very useful in fulfilling the educational requirements of the deserving aspirants who are providing along with the choice of studying in associated school of choice. ICT has also assisted to make our system more effective and result-oriented. While conversing to the other partners he said that we have also introduced GIS system which will assist in digital mapping of the associate schools in the province. He also added that E-register project is also launched from Lahore. This foundation is working with its complete enthusiasm to spread the light of knowledge and education in each and every corner of the province. He also said that public money is a hallowed trust delegated upon PEF as well as its partners; PEF is completely devoted to spend even its single penny along with ultimate care.
