Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC Announces The Date Of MDCAT Results

Pakistan Medical Commission, PMC announces the date of MDCAT result 2020. According to the given schedule, the PMC National MDCAT result will be published on December 16th, 2020.

PMC National MDCAT Schedule 2020

In 2020, PMC has taken the charge of conducting the Medical and Dental College Admission Test, MDCAT. MDCAT 2020 session was gone through a delay period because of certain circumstances. However, in the end, it was decided that the MDCAT would be conducted in the last week of November. However, with the increasing number of corona patients and because the candidates tested positive with the Covid-19, PMC has decided to conduct 02 MDCAT exams. According to the set schedule normal candidates appeared for MDCAT on November 29th, 2020. However, it is decided that the students who tested positive with the Covid-19 will appear for a special MDCAT exam that will be conducted on December 13th, 2020.    

Sindh High Court Decision 

Right after conducting MDCAT 2020 session, PMC announced that the result will be finalized within 10 days. However, after receiving a petition against the new policy of the MDCAT exam the Sindh High Court revealed that to conduct double MDCAT is not against any law and, at the same time, the Sindh High Court addressed PMC to publish the result of both of the MDCAT exams i.e. normal exam and special exam at the same time. Moreover, it was also ordered by the Sindh High Court to publish a single merit list for medical admissions.
