Pakistan Engineering Council, PEC has announced need-cum-merit based scholarship scheme for the engineering students. The deserving candidates can apply in this scholarship as it allows the students to become competent engineers from the public sector universities. The assessment for the scholarship will be carried out by the PEC scholarship committee along with the respective HEIs to grant it as per the provided criteria.
PEC Scholarship Scheme 2020
PEC has taken this initiative for the students to financially support them, who are unable to meet their educational expenditures. The main purpose of the scheme is to facilitate the students of the underprivileged areas so that they can continue their studies without facing any hurdle. So the interested candidates are encouraged to submit the application form for this scholarship. Under this scheme, the students will be provided the scholarship in the cycle of 4 years. The authorities will provide the 100,000 rupees to the selected candidates every year for their tuition fees, living expenses and books.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the students that can apply in the PEC scholarship 2020 is mentioned below
- The student must be enrolled in the PEC accredited undergraduate engineering programs in the public sector universities.
- The students having the domicile of Baluchistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu& Kashmir, Tribal Areas, KPK, Sindh, and Punjab are eligible for this scholarship.
- The family income of the students less than 50,000/- can apply
- The students availing another scholarship are not eligible for this scheme.
Last Date To Apply
The candidates have to fill the online application form to apply in the PEC scholarship scheme. The due date to apply for this scholarship scheme is 31st October 2020.
