The government of Punjab has introduced Pakistan Education Endowment Fund which is a Special Quota Education Scholarship for talented and deserving Intermediate and Graduate. All candidates who have passed matric or intermediate in 2019 and belong to any of the five categories can apply for the scholarship.

Special Quota Application Details

Pakistan Education Endowment Fund has categorized the special quota scholarship into five different categories. Applicants from each category can apply according to the given document details.

Orphan students

Orphan students whose parents are passed away will submit the application with the death certificate of their parent assigned by the Union council or verified fathers' death certificate by the school headmaster.

 

 

Children of Government servants (Grade 1-4)

The applicant will attach a salary slip of parent or certificate assigned by the company. In case of a pension, the applicant will attach a copy of the pension book.

Disabled Children

All male and female disable students will attach a disable certificate assigned by district headquarter hospital or rural healthcare center ( DHQ Hospital, THQ Hospital, RHC Hospital).

Students who belong to minorities

The applicant will have to attach a certified copy assigned by the head of their respective religious institute.

Students whose parents were civilians martyred in terrorist attacks

The applicant who falls in this category will submit the application with the death certificate of their parent with the reason for death assigned by the Union council.

Eligibility Criteria For PEEF Scholarship

  1. Having residence of Punjab province/ Students with Punjab province domicile
  2. Students who have secured minimum 60% marks in BISE/ FBISE annual examination 2019 in matric/ intermediate
  3. Declared monthly income of parents (from all sources) is equal to or less than PKR 23000/-
  4. From Grade 1 to Grade 4 all civil servants children are excluded from the condition of earing PKR 23000/- per month
  5. Students whose parents were civilians martyred in terrorist attacks does not have any restriction of monthly income
  6. Schools and colleges within the boundaries of Punjab province are also eligible to apply for the scholarship
  7. All students enrolled in the institute on a regular basis for intermediate or graduation.

Ineligibility Criteria For PEEF Scholarship

  1. Application submitted on any form other than the prescribed form will be rejected.
  2. Candidates can also use a copy of the application form.
  3. Applicants who have passed their annual exams for PBTE/TEVTA are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  4. Candidates with incomplete form and found providing misinformation during the verification process will not be eligible for the scholarship.

Scholarship Deadline

Applicants are informed to apply with matric/intermediate exam passing result certificate according to the given category. The last date for application submission is Tuesday 31st December 2019. Applications received after the deadline will not be entertained in any condition.
