Pak USAID merit and needs based scholarship program begins at Karachi University

Karachi, The University of Karachi in collaboration with USAID offering merit and need based scholarships to deserving students.

Candidates are eligible if they are Pakistani/AJK National. At undergraduate and graduate level the financial support and scholarships will be provided at the selected 29 Pakistani universities and degree awarding institutions. The need and merit based scholarships are available for the mentioned disciplines and these are Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences (Veterinary Sciences and Bio Technology),  Business Administration,  Social Sciences (Peace &Conflict Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology, Economics, Linguistics, Law, Communication and Media studies, International Relations, and Psychology) , Engineering and Technology and Medical. The scholarships for women will also be awarded and making sure those 50 percent scholarships will be given to women especially those who belong to remote and far-flung areas of Pakistan and fulfill the criteria of the selected 29 universities of Pakistan.

 Interested students must meet the eligibility requirements in the approved disciplines at the partaking institution according to the admission policy of the institution.
 
Candidates who are getting education in first semester/professional year in the relevant program of the selected universities will be eligible to apply.  The need and merit bases scholarship will cover the tuition fee, lodging, transportation, books and other academic costs.
