Under the instructions by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan national Highway Authority, NHA is going to launch NHA paid internship to the youth of Pakistan. This program is launching for 12,000 Youngers and the aim of this program is to impart professional training to the youngsters who are willing to get professional training and education in different construction industries of Pakistan. All the candidates are informed that this paid internship program is with guarantee jobs.
The authority also revealed that during the first year of this program at least 12,000 youngsters will be considered for training or education in both non-paid and paid internship categories.
Students under the following professional fields can take part in this internship program:
- Civil Engineering
- Material Engineering
- AutoCad Operator
- Lab Technician
- Environmental and Safeguard Trainee
During the beginning or 1st phase of the internship program, one month will be unpaid training. Students will be offered three months paid internship during the second phase and the training will offer the valued experience which will be considered as a guarantee of job offer.
Students who are studying in the last year of their degree or diploma will also be considered for this internship program.
After the completion of this training program all the consultants, contractors and firms that come under NHA will be bounded to offer jobs to the technically trained interns for a period of 12 months.
The engagement of the students will be possible under 40s projects running by the NHA under the Public Sector Development Programs of 2019-2020 session.
A further announcement has also declared by Murad Saeed, the Minister of Communication and Postal Services, according to which 35,000 young students are also offering internship or training programs under the supervision of Pakistan post. The young students between the ages of 20 to 30 will be considered for this internship or training program.
