Orange line metro Train seminar organized at UET, Lahore

University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore had organized a seminar on “Orange Metro Train” at New Auditorium Complex. While conversing to the spectators on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid briefed the significance of the project to the students of university of Engineering and technology. He put emphasis on the aspirants to take part in this project because according to him this is the best time for the students to learn.  

Furthermore, the Chief Engineer of LDA gave the main presentation of this project. He said that this project will be completed in a minimum limit of time of international level. The Chinese firm estimated total worth for this project approximately 90 billion however we will complete the same at the cost of Rs. 48 billion. This is undoubtedly a huge success of a Pakistani company.

Package one orange line departed from Dera Gujran to Chuburji whereas the approximate total length of the project is 27 Km. During his address he also said that after the completion of Civil Work we will handover this project to China and 27 months are required for the completion of this project.

At the end of event, Vice Chancellor of University of Engineering and technology appreciated the guest for sparing their precious time. All the Chairpersons or Directors, faculty members and students of the university attended this presentation.
