NTS asked to lessen candidate's exams fee

Islamabad: National Assembly Standing Committee on Science and Technology directed the National Testing Services on Friday to introduce a mechanism to lessen the test fee for the applicants. This meeting was chaired by the head of National Assembly Standing Committee Ch Tariq Bashir Cheema while also attended by the other members of committee.

In the meeting, authoritative body discussed the issues of NTS and Pakistan Engineering council (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The committee also comes to know that there was no any supervisory body to handle the issues of various private testing services institutes that are functioning in the country.

The committee moreover suggests to formulate supervisory body to watch out the matters of these institutes to certify the transparency and exceptional performance by them.  Regulatory body also instructed NTS to charge one fees to candidates for one test.
