New Anti-Cheating Measure: Lahore Board’s QR Code Roll Slips for Intermediate 2025

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially begun issuing roll number slips for Intermediate Part-2 (12th Grade) students appearing in the first annual examinations of 2025. According to Controller of Examinations Zahid Mian, the exams will commence on April 29, 2025, with approximately 183,000 candidates expected to participate.

This year, BISE Lahore has introduced QR codes on roll number slips to prevent cheating and ensure transparency. The system has already proven effective in stopping fake candidates from entering examination centers.

How to Obtain Roll Number Slips

Candidates can obtain their roll number slips through the following methods:

1. For Private Candidates

• Visit the official BISE Lahore website (www.biselahore.com)

• Navigate to the "Roll Number Slip" section

• Enter your registration number and other required details

• Download and print the slip

2. For Regular Candidates

• Students enrolled in registered colleges/schools will receive their slips from their respective institutions

• Ensure all details on the slip are correct before the exam

Key Features of the Roll Number Slip

The roll number slip contains essential information, including:

• Candidate’s name & father’s name

• Roll number & registration number

• Examination center name & address

• Paper timings & date sheet

• QR code for verification

Note: Candidates must bring their roll number slips to the exam center. No entry will be allowed without it.
