National Science Fair 2013 begins at AIOU

Islamabad, National Science Fair is being started at Allama Iqbal Open University today and event of high school science research competition organized with the Intel- Education Initiative.
 
The winners of this National Science Fair 2013 will contest in the forthcoming Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF). The international fair is the world’s largest pre-college science competition will start in Phoenix, Arizona (USA) from May 12 - 17, 2013.
 
Pakistan Science Foundation Chairman Dr. Manzoor Soomro will be the chief guest at this occasion while Country Manager; Intel Pakistan Naveed Siraj will guide the listeners about ISEF.

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has declared the results of Bachelor Programs under Spring Semester 2012. The result can be seen at the university website.

AIOU Controller of Exams Muhammad Bashir Ch announced this news and said that result cards have been sent by post to the students. Moreover if any student could not receive his/her result card till January 30 and contact the Deputy Controller Exams (Muhammad Ishtiaq Bhatti) personally or at his Phone number 051-9057323.
 
The result can also be downloaded from the university website www.aiou.edu.pk. As many as 2,45,000 students appeared in the exams from all over the country. The results of PTC, CT, B.Ed, Matric and FA programs for the Spring Semester 2012 have already been announced.

The University with its main campus at Islamabad and huge network of regional centers spread all over the country is serving its custom all over Pakistan and in the Middle East. AIOU is a Distance Education institution, which provides multi-disciplinary education from basic to doctoral level programs.

The university has established 36 regional campuses and centers in several parts of the country to coordinate and facilitate decentralized system of education of the university. The regional directors keep a schedule of qualified teachers and experts in each field of study in their area and enlist them as the university’s part-time tutors. Each group of students is assigned to a tutor for guidance.
