NADRA Inaugurates its Online CNIC Issuance and Revitalization Facility

The facility of NADRA that allow the residents of Pakistan, in Pakistan as well as in abroad, to get their CNIC issued (for the very first time) and replenished online has been introduced.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has initiated the online revitalization of CNIC of NADRA. Government said that after the inauguration of this facility not one person is required to visit NADRA offices for issuance or for their reprints of their Computerized National Identity Cards.

Along with this facility, the residents of Pakistan can apply online for the issuance or revitalizations of their CNICs. They can submit the fee via credit card and get the CNICs delivered to their houses address in Pakistan or in abroad if they are living there.

Given below are the services that are offered by the online CNIC facility of NADRA:

Apply for New Foreign CNIC (NICOP) for the first time.

Apply for CNIC Reprint if your card was misplaced, stolen, damaged or if it is destroyed.

Apply for renewal of CNIC if your card has expired.

Apply for changes in CNIC if you want to modify the data of your national identity.

Apply for CNIC Transformation to a chip-based Smart-ID card via an application of modification or renewal.

Chase your application to know about the status of your National identity card.

Note:

Residents of Pakistan living in Pakistan will have to arrive physically at NADRA offices (for biometric verification system) if they are applying for their identity card for the first time.
