Lahore: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan and China for the establishment of first technical and vocational training university of Punjab.

According to the press release issued on Monday, the MoU was signed by the chairperson of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Irfan Qaisar and the Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood who are on a visit to China, along with the Tianjin University for the establishment of first training university in Punjab.

As per the signed MoU, the Chinese university will provide all the support as well as the guidance required in the establishment of new university which is to be made functional possibly from next year (February 2018).
