On Tuesday, the Ministry of Federal Education as well as the Provincial Training decided to reopen such technical and vocational training where no classroom teaching is involved.

Along with the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, the Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutes (TVET) were also closed with effect from March 13th, 2020 together with the other formal educational institutes. 

Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Call Conference 

Though, after observing the improvement in the worse situation of covid-19, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, summoned an inter-provincial TVET Ministerial Conference on Tuesday to discuss the prospect of gradually resumption of technical and vocational training across the state.

The meeting was attended by all the provinces as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. In the meeting, the matter was discussed in detail and the officials of all the provinces gave their valuable feedbacks. 

Technical And Vocational Institutes To Reopen Where No Classrooms Are Needed

It was recommended that as the technical and vocational training is not essentially conducted in the classroom however there are large numbers of fields where training is delivered outside the classrooms in open space as well as factory premises.
