Gujranwala, Many students of four medical colleges in public sector in a big cities of Sialkot, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and DG Khan held protest against Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in front of  the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Thursday for not recognition of their degree, these colleges are established in the last year in Punjab.

These students are protested holding banners, placards and chanting slogans in the front of Young Medicos Action Committee, demanding for the recognitions of these for medical colleges by the PMDC. The student leader said to the protesters that the future of 800 hundred students was in stake by the wrong policies of PMDC. The students were protested, due to the mafia of private sector the PMDC increase the seats of 100 to 150 in private medical colleges. PMDC also recognize six private medical colleges despite the shortage of facility and facilities, the Council reluctant to register over 800 students of public sector medical colleges.
