Peshawar: So far, 11,687 candidates have registered to appear in the entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS at government and private medical and dental colleges of Khyber-Pakhtunkwa.

This statement was given in a press release that was issued by Khyber Medical University. According to the document, out of the candidates who have registered 7,008 are male while 4,679 are female. Though, the MCAT entrance test is scheduled to be conducted on July 24th, 2016.

All those branches of banks where the registration fees can be submitted will remain open during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

Medical college admission test (MCAT test)will be conducted in Peshawar, Swat, Abbottabad and Dera Ismail Khan. A total of 7,112 candidates have so far registered for Peshawar centre, 1,290 for Abbottabad, 2090 for Swat whereas 1195 candidates have registered for the centre in Dera Ismail Khan.

The candidates from Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab have also applied to appear in the entrance test against the reserved quota.
