LUMS & Nestle Pakistan introduces certificate in agribusiness management

Lahore, The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) with the support of Nestle Pakistan has initiated the executive certificate program in agribusiness first time ever.  In this regard the one year certificate in agribusiness management will includes the courses on agri-economics, entrepreneurship, finance and accounting, value chain and technology etc.
 
The initial program will begin on January 17, 2014 with a total of 36 members who will provide an understanding about the agribusiness sector and define the openings for the expansion of their valued business and organizations. By keeping in view the present needs of local business environment. 
 
Nestlé Pakistan Managing Director Magdi Batato said on this occasion that this course will provide the vision to candidates to master in their respective fields of agribusiness to get better outcomes. The program has been developed to provide managerial skills to improve the productivity of the land, said Vice Chancellor LUMS Dr. Sohail Naqvi.

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) is a national university which was established by the support of Pakistan’s leading private and public sector corporations. The major purpose of the development of LUMS is to provide precise academic and intellectual training of international level to the Pakistani students.

The National Management Foundation, the sponsoring body of the University was incorporated in November 1984 and was granted a charter by the Government of Pakistan for establishing the University, in March 1985, with the president of Pakistan being designated the role of the University’s Chancellor.
