Literary week kicks off at UET

Peshawar: The Literary Week 2016 started at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar on Monday.

This literary festival has been organized by the Literary and Debating Society of the university.

Various competitions will be conducted during the week including “Naat Competition”, “Qirat Competition”, “Recitative Contest”, “Stage Drama”, “Quiz completion”, “Bait Bazi” and “Essay Writing” as well.

The Registrar of UET Peshawar Dr Khizar Azam was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. The registrar in his speech advised the students to develop interpersonal skills.

He furthermore said these activities were a key to a healthier as well as more positive environment.
