Islamabad: The closing ceremony of laptop distribution for the apsirants of National University of Modern Languages (NUML) under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme laptop scheme, phase-II, was organized at the university campus on Tuesday.

Senator PML(N) Nuzhat Sadiq was the chief guest of the ceremony whereas the Rector of National University of Modern Languages Major General (R) Zia Ud Din Najam, Advisor Higher Education Commission (HEC) Wasim Hashami, Director of NUML General Brigadier Riaz Ahmed Gondal, Registrar, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments as well as large number of students were also present in the ceremony.
While addressing at the event, Senator Nuzhat Sadiq said that the government is completely aware of the importance of the educated youth and committed to armed them along with the technologies of the advanced era.

“Pakistani Youth is our asset and the nation has full confidence in them.”
She further said that Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif is very clear and committed to support youth of the country and Prime Minister’s laptop scheme is the part of PM’s vision to uplift youth.
At first, the Rector of NUML Zia Ud Din Najam in his address said that PM laptop scheme was undoubtedly an exceptional step of the government to give laptops to the students.

“Pakistan is lacking behind in IT sector as compared to the rest of the world and it is duty of our youngsters to take advantages of the facilities offered by the government,” he added.
The rector said that the youth of our country is the real asset and future of Pakistan lies in the hands of young generation because the youth of today will lead the country in future.
