Karachi, Karachi University has extended the form submission date for admission in master and diploma level programs. The declaration was made by admission director, Prof Khalid Iraqi. He said that now students can submit the form till August 06, 2014.
Meanwhile, The university has also issued a new date for entrance test of MBA Banking (evening shift).
"Now the entry test is scheduled to be organized on August 10. The admission list will be uploaded on the official website of Karachi University www.uok.edu.pk on August 13"
KU has also announced the schedule for submission of fee for programs BS, BBA, BPA (semester 4, 6, 8), BPharm, MPharm (semester 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) and MA/MSC, M.Com, MBA last semester. The fee could be submitted in the KU campus branches of UBL and NBP. Forms without late fee can be submitted till October 03 and with Rs. 500 late fee from October 06 to 17, 2014. The fee for regular students is Rs. 100 per course while repeater students have to submit Rs. 200 per course.
The University of Karachi was established in June, 1951. The present campus is established on 1279 acres of land, situated 12 Km away from the city center.
Today University is recognized as a leading center of learning and research in the Subcontinent and in the Third World. A number of scientists and scholars affiliated with the University are working in important positions both within and outside Pakistan and have won gratitude and acclaim.
The University has made the Centre of the Third World Academy of Sciences and got distinction in this regard. Students from several foreign countries are also pursuing for the Masters and Doctorate degrees. A large number of students from Karachi and other parts of the country apply for admission here because of its better academic and research principles.
