The University of Karachi has announced to conduct the entry test for the admissions in the bachelor's and master’s degree programs. The entry test will be conducted on 12th and 13th December respectively. According to the officials, almost 10,000 admission forms have been received from the candidates to appear in the test. The candidates are informed to bring the admit card issued to them in the examination hall. Moreover, the details about the test centers have been provided to the students. 

KU Entry Test

The test will start at 11 am and the candidates are instructed to reach the center at least one hour earlier than the commencement of the test. The authorities will provide 1 hour and 4 minutes to solve the paper. The candidates have to bring the original CNIC along with the admission card. To ensure the safety of the students and invigilators there would be strict implementation of the COVID-19 standard operating procedures in all the centers. The university has directed all the students to follow the guidelines devised by the government to halt the spread of the coronavirus. The candidates would appear in the entry test for the various departments such as mass communication, business administration, chemical engineering, education, commerce, environmental studies, public administration, international relations, criminology, applied physics, computer science, food science and technology, and applied chemistry. 

Special Entrance Exam 

KU Directorate of Admissions Dr. Saima Akhtar said that the students that have tested positive for the coronavirus are required to submit the COVID-19 report before the test. She added that the university will arrange the special entrance exam for students after they produce a negative report for the coronavirus. For now, such students are not allowed to sit in the examination hall to take the entry test conducted by Karachi University.
