Karachi University has extended the deadline for submitting the online admissions forms for the academic year 2021. Now the students can submit the form until 2nd December 2020 for the bachelor's and master’s degree programs. This year the university authorities announced the entry-based online admissions. The university has issued the details about the online admission forms and the other admission related guidelines to facilitate the students. The candidates have to submit the form with the required academic documents and paid fee voucher. It is informed to the candidates to upload the scanned copies of the documents on the online portal before the due date. The online forms received after the closing date will not be accepted.
Bachelors and Masters Programs
In the bachelor's program, the students can apply in the various departments such as chemical engineering, applied chemistry, business administration, education, international relations, public administration, and school of law, commerce, biotechnology, and environmental sciences. And in the master’s program, the candidates can take admission in the departments of criminology, Pakistan studies, business administration, and commerce. Besides this admission are also available in the department of pharmacy, department of physiotherapy, and department of visual studies. The candidates must have 45% marks in intermediate or the equivalent study program in the department of visual studies. It is mandatory for the applicants to clear the assessment test to secure admission.
To take admission to Karachi University the students have to appear in the entry test conducted by the Karachi university assessment and testing service. The candidates applying for the self-financed as well as reserved seats have to clear the entrance rest otherwise they could not get admission to the university.
KU Announces B.Com Results
Karachi University has announced the B.Com result of part I and part 11 external examinations of 2019. 3,571 candidates were registered for the exams and 3,250 students appeared while the overall pass percentage of B.Com degree program was 16.49%.
