University of Karachi has announced to hold the semester exams based on a hybrid model after facing the strong criticism from the aspirants over its decision to start the traditional examinations from September 21st, 2020.
Approval To Hold Hybrid Model Exams
The Vice Chancellor of Karachi University, Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi, gave the approval to hold semester exams under a hybrid model during the meeting of the Deans Committee which was organized at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat.
Structure of Hybrid Model Exams
As per the details, the hybrid exams model will comprises of both traditional exams as well as the assessment of assignments, reviews, class activities, presentations, and viva voce conducted during the online classes which were held in the Coronavirus lockdown.
KU To Conduct Traditional Exams From January
KU will hold the traditional exams from January 1st, 2021 to February 28th, 2021 on the basis of on-campus classes as well as their marks will be combined along with the assessment marks of assignments and the other activities performed during the online classes held in the lockdown due to the pandemic.
