JI held Youth Convention and Talent Expo for students

Large number of aspirants as well as youngsters from different government and private organizations and educational institutions turned up at the day-long ‘Youth Convention and Talent Expo,’ arranged by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Youth at the Convention Centre.

The planners of this mega event distributed the rewards between the youth coming from across the state that excelled in educational as well as the other activities comprising of players, students, engineers and the other professionals as well. Large number of stalls of various educational institutions and organization were also established at the site for information as well as counseling of youth.

Central ameer Senator of Jamat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq who was the chief guest of that ceremony distributed awards between the talented youth, drawn from various fields. Naib ameer of Jamat-e-Islami Mian Muhammad Aslam, Youth Wing President of Jamat-e-Islami Zubair Ahmad Gondal and ameer of Jamat-e-Islami Islamabad Zubair Farooq Khan were also present on the ceremony.

While addressing on the event, the ameer of Jamat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq said that his party was struggling against the illiteracy, dishonesty as well as injustice in the state. He moreover said that “No country can make the progress unless these three big threats are eradicated”.

Sirajul Haq during his address told the audience that Jamaat will launch nationwide movement against corruption from the next month. He observed that the VIP as well as protocol culture had made the life of common man miserable whereas saying that there was no need to hold the accountability crosswise the board and promote a society based on justice.

Sirajul Haq said that the leaders have not been able to look after as well as to represent the country and the nation with dignity in spite of the fact that Pakistan is the only Muslim nuclear country. He also added that “The rulers who have made the state hostage to the IMF and World Bank are the responsible for the current situation of the country.”
