Isra University holds life sciences conference
According to a press release, The Life Sciences' Society of Pakistan in association along with the Nobel Science & Research Centre, Turkey, Isra University and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan arranged an international conference on Life Sciences at Al-Nafees Medical College.
A large number of applicants from the entire country as well as representatives from China, USA, and Hungary attended the conference.
Chairman of Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf participated as the chief guest in conference. Even though, speaking to the session he said that such conference are required for knowledge sharing as well as for the collaboration. He also emphasized on the requirement of applied sciences to raise the knowledge based economy of the state.
Professor Dr. Umar Ali Khan Pro-Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences) of Isra University also spoke the session he himself motivated the partakers to go forward for Research & Development (R&D) activities in Pakistan. The conference continued for three days numerous well-known presenters and researcher lectured also involving Professor Dr. M Nawaz, Professor Dr. Zasta Khan, Professor Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Professor Dr. Anwar Gillanian and Professor Dr. Raheel Qamar.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Executive Director of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Professor Dr. Raza Bhatti. Even though, speaking to the session he said that Higher Education Commission is promoting the research & development activities within the country and willing to develop the relations abroad and he also appreciated Dr. Zahid Iqbal for arranging that magnificent event. Professor Dr. Altaf A. G Shiekh PVC of Isra University also the addressed to the session. However, the conference ended along with the vote of appreciations by the chief organizer.
