Islamic Development Bank Announces IsDB Scholarships For Academic Year 2021-2022

The Islamic development bank has announced the IsDB scholarships for the academic year 2021-22. The candidate can apply in the several degree programs that include undergraduate, masters, Ph.D., post-doctorate research, and scholarship for technical, vocational education, and training. The interested male and female students are encouraged to apply. In order to get the scholarship, the candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned by the authorities. The basic purpose of providing these scholarships is to provide better research opportunities through which the candidates can make the rapid progression in their affiliated field. The IsDB aims to assist the students to play a leading role in the development of their countries. 

Scholarships For Students

Every year the bank announces the scholarships in the month of December for the next September/October intake each year. The results implementation of the programs includes the submission of application forms, in-house review of submitted application forms, selection committee’s meeting, result announcement, and placement of students. The decision about the selected students is finalized by the IsDB management. Moreover, the applications are also reviewed by the two Independent International Selection Committees that assess the applicants’ qualifications and eligibility requirements according to their proposed fields of study. The selected candidates for the scholarship program will obtain admission to one of the top ten public universities of their own country. The Islamic bank has partnered with reputable institutes and universities and the program includes Oxford University, University of Cambridge, and the Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom, Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation in Morocco, Campus France in France, McGill University in Canada, and Council of Higher Education (YOK) in Turkey.

Application Deadline

The candidates are required to submit the online application form through the IsDB scholarship portal. The last to apply for the announced scholarships is 28th February 2021.
