Inter School Football championship from May 23
Karachi, An Inter-School Football championship for boys and girls is going to be organized by Karachi City Sports Association (KCSA) from May 23-27 on different time schedules.
KCSA President Mohammad Aslam Khan said while briefing at the Karachi Press Club. On this occasion KCSA Secretary Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, Chairman Ghulam Muhammad and Project Director Salahuddin Kharal were also present.
A total of 16 teams of boys and eight outfits of girls will participate in the competitions. Players below 18 years are eligible to take part.
On May 25, the quarter-finals will be played, the semi-finals on May 26 and the final match will be played on May 27. The awards will be presented to winners at the KMC Stadium.
The event is being organized in collaboration with School Education Department, Karachi Region, and scouts department. The management acknowledged for the support to Director School Education Abdul Wahab Abbasi, scouts department, KMC and Sindh Football Association’s (SFA) President Syed Khadim Ali Shah.
In the meeting the draws for both team’ contests were held and joined by the members of competing schools at scouts office in Nazimabad. The conveyance and refreshment will also be provided.
Moreover, KCSA is also planning to hold Youth Football Day on May 27 at the KMC Stadium from 12noon to 3pm. interested candidates can register themselves for the match and free tips will be given by the qualified coaches.
The director of the competition is Khalid Rehman while Mohammad Taqi is the managing secretary whereas technical committee is comprised of Muhammad Anwar, Ali Bhatti, Nasir Khan, Sadia Sheikh, Zehra, Bilqees Shafiq, Safder Abbas, Samad Khan, Majida Hameed, Fahmida Zamir and Farah Riaz.
