Punjab, students of intermediate part II protested in different cities of Punjab against their results. Students demanded for the rechecking of their papers as authorities have announced paper rechecking of inter part I exams. Fierce students gathered outside the board offices and chanted slogans against the board authorities. They burned the tyres and blocked the roads while board authorities called police to stop them.
According to the reports, students from Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Sargodha protested in front of boards’ offices and demanded for rechecking of their papers without any fee. They complaint about the board authorities that they are not listening to them and not answering their questions. Students showed anger against general errors in their results and demanded for the rechecking of their papers as soon as possible before the starting of supplementary exams which will be commenced in November.
It is pertinent to mention here that Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has ordered board authorities to recheck inter part I papers. Board authorities are claiming that their staff is busy in rechecking inter part I result.
Inter part 2 Students warned the management that they would continue to protest until their demands are not fulfilled.
