Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Technology Announces Admission For B.S. Biomedical Engineering

The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences has recently announced the admission for B.S Biomedical Engineering recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council for academic session 2020. All interested candidates can apply for admission in the First Year B.S. Biomedical Engineering four years degree programme according to the given eligibility criteria of qualification and other important details which are as follows.

Eligibility Criteria For B.S. Biomedical Engineering

1. The candidates who have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or equivalent examination from any other board or institution recognized by IBCC passed in the year 2013 or above only.
2. Applicant must have passed the intermediate examination in the years 2015 to 2019 with Pre-Medical or Pre- Engineering with at least 60% Marks.
3. Applicants with A-Level Examination must have passed it with a minimum of 60% Marks. However, all applicants who have passed the O/A Level examination should submit a Transcript and Equivalence Certificate from IBCC Islamabad in order to apply for B.S. Biomedical Engineering.
4. Candidates applying for admission under the category open merit/Local Self Finance must be domiciled and permanent residents of Sindh Province.

Applying Procedure & Details

1. All applicants can obtain application form along with the prospectus from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Technology, LUMHS, Jamshoro.
2. The applicant must submit fee charges of PKR 2,000/- which are Nonrefundable through Bank Challan receivable from the institute, in favor of I.B.E.T LUMHS, Account No. 0072-7901105501 in Habib Bank Limited, LUMHS Branch, Jamshoro.
3. Applications forms can be collected from the university from 25^th November 2019 till 13^th December 2019.

Application Form Submission Deadline

1. All candidates applying for the admission must apply according to the merit. Similarly, candidates shall be admitted in order of Merit on the basis of marks obtained in their qualifying examination and entrance test.
2. Candidates must submit their respective application form along with two sets of Photocopies of required documents attested by Grade-17 or above Government Officer.
3. The application form should be received in the Office of Director, Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Technology till 20th December 2019.
4. Applicants must have to appear for the entrance test which will be held on Monday 6^th January 2020 at OSPE Center at LUMHS, Jamshoro.
