IJT activists beat media student at Punjab University

Lahore: Islami Jamiat Taliba (IJT) supporters attacked and inhumanely tortured a student of Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) for sitting together with the female student.

As per the details, Messam Abbas, student of second semester, MSc Communication Studies, was sitting with a female student at student teacher centre when some of the IJT attackers reached the spot and started beating him up cruelly.

After that, a number of students of ICS took out a rally against Islami Jamiat Taliba hooliganism. They doomed Jamiat members for this inhumane act and called upon the management to take a strict action against the guilty party.

While talking to media, IJT representative denied happening of any such event and said that action will be taken if any IJT campaigners will be found involved in brutalizing of any innocent student.

The representative of Punjab University said that the management is trying to identify the issue and disciplinary actions would be taken against the aspirants who are involved in the beating of student.
