Lahore, The Government College University (GCU) has announced Intermediate in Commerce (ICom) from upcoming academic session.
The decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of Academic Programmes and Examination Regulations Review Committee chaired by GCU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Aftab.
The university administration said that the admission schedule for intermediate classes would be announced after the declaration of matriculation results.
Giving the details of last year’s minimum merit for admissions to various discipline of intermediate classes, an admissions office spokesman said that it was 972 marks for pre-engineering, 962 for pre-medical, 905 for computer sciences, 867 for general sciences and 792 for arts. Professor Khalid Aftab said GCU had appointed a Director Intermediate so that all FA/FSc students were supervised in a conducive learning environment that met the approved curricula of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and the mission statement of GCU.
