Recently Huawei Pakistan organized an opening ceremony for 11 aspirants from Pakistani Universities of “Seeds for the Future” program held in Islamabad.
Wife of Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Madam Bao, Member ministry of IT Tahir Mushtaq and Vice Chancellor UET were also present on that occasion.
While conserving to the ceremony Tahir Mushtaq Member ministry of IT appreciated the aspirants and said that it was an exceptional starting of their life because they would get chance to interact along with the professionals working in Huawai.
He moreover said that it was the first step from the private sector to send the candidates for 2 week program as their Corporation Social Responsibility.
The wife of Chines ambassador to Pakistan, Madam Bao in her speech said that China is always ready to help Pakistan in any situation. In this program the aspirants will get an opportunity to discover China.
Eleven aspirants who are nominated from the various colleges and universities will take a journey of 14 days in China, together with China culture experience and also ICT lectures and site visits both in Beijing BLCU (Beijing Language and Culture University) plus Shenzhen Huawei Headquarters from 15th august 2015 to 29th August 2015.
“Seeds for the future” program is the largest CSR (Corporation Social Responsibility) program of Huawei Technologies. The program searches to develop the national ICT talents, enhance knowledge transfers, and also enhance the understanding people of and interest in the ICT industry (Information & Communication Technology). This program was initially exposed in Thailand in 2008, till now it has protracted to 40 states and covers almost 10000 aspirants in the entire world.
The program has been unveiled in Pakistan for the first time and Huawei Pakistan will commit more resourced to endow younger people. Second program will be unveiled in year 2016.
