HEC Extends The Application Deadline For Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme

The higher education commission of Pakistan has extended the deadline for the post-doctoral fellowship programme. Eligible candidates are highly encouraged to apply in this offered prgramme. The application of the candidates will be processed on the basis of the data mentioned in the online application form and in the case of any misinterpretation the application form of the candidates will be rejected at any stage. 

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be selected for this programme it is mandatory for the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria required by the higher education commission.

• The Pakistani and AJK nationals can apply.
• The candidate must be a regular employee of a public/private sector HEC recognized university. 
• The candidate must not be availing of any other scholarship.
• The age limit of the candidates is 45 years.
• The candidate must have 5 years of experience in Pakistan after the completion of the Ph.D. degree.
• The candidate should have the placement letter in the top 200 QS world ranking universities/research institutes from the relevant supervisor. 

Application Submission

• The candidates are required to submit the online application form through the web portal of the higher education commission. 
• The candidates have to submit the application processing fee of Rs. 1000/- in the favour of Director General Finance, HEC. The fee can be submitted to Habib Bank Limited. The application processing fee is non-refundable.
• It is informed to the candidates that HEC will only process the submitted applications while the saved applications will not be considered. 
• The incomplete application form will be rejected by the concerned officials.
• HEC reserves the right to cancel the process at any stage without mentioning any reason. 

Last Date To Apply

The last date to apply in the Phase-III of the HEC Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme is 15th April 2021. The candidates are notified to submit the application form before the last date.
