Higher Education Commission, HEC is ready to conduct a law admission test (LAT) for a 5-years undergraduate program. The test will be applicable to get admission in a 5-years undergraduate LLB program in any recognized public sector and private sector universities, recognized colleges, and colleges affiliated with the public sector and private sector universities.

Eligibility Criteria For LAT

Students must follow the below-given requirements to be eligible for LAT:

  1. Students who are willing to apply for LAT are required to pass higher secondary school certificate, HSSC or equivalent degree program.
  2. Result awaiting students of higher secondary school certificate, HSSC are also eligible to apply for LAT.

Detail Of Examination

  1. Applicants once registered through an online registration portal.
  2. Once the registration will be completed applicants will be informed through SMS or an email.
  3. The date of admission test will also be announced on the official site of HEC.

How To Be Registered

Applicants will follow the below-given for a successful online registration:

  1. Applicants must visit the official portal of HEC for online registration.  
  2. Applicants who are facing any trouble while registering through the online registration portal then they can visit the Secretariat of HEC or can make direct contact to regional centers 
  3. Applicants must follow the section “My Profile” and then follow the given link of the “Law Admission Test”.
  4. Only those applications will be accepted that are submitted by the applicants. Save applications and incomplete applications will not be considered.
  5. Applicants are required to submit test fee Rs. 500/- in the Account No. 1742 7900 133401. Account title is “Higher Education Commission”. Selected bank for fee deposition is HBL, Branch Code: 1742. The bank draft/ pay order will also be considered.
  6. Applicants will be required to send a copy of the fee deposit, on or before the deadline, to the given address: room no. 13-209, 2nd floor, HRD building, HEC, Sector H-8.
  7. Applicants are asked to mention the NIC number on the back of the bank fee deposit slip.
  8. Note that bank fee is nontransferable and nonrefundable.

Deadline of Application

Applicants are required to submit the application before January 15th, 2020. Note that applications after the due date or deadline will not be considered or rejected.
