HEC Announces MBBS And BDS Admissions Under Self Finance Scheme 2021

The higher education commission has announced the MBBS and BDS admissions under the self-finance scheme 2021. The foreigners and the dual nationality holders of Pakistan are only eligible to apply under this scheme. The main purpose is to encourage the expatriate Pakistanis to get admission in their home country and also enhance the relationship with the international community. The applications are invited from the candidates for the various medical universities of Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa that are as follows

Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) / HSSC / A-Level/ 12th Grade examination outside Pakistan.
• The candidates should have obtained at least 65% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination.
• The candidates are required to submit the equivalence certificate issued by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen.
• The candidates should have secured 60% marks in MDCAT or 60% or more marks in in the result of SAT-II subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics.
• Moreover, the students are informed that in order to get admission in MBBS and BDS degree programs only SAT-II results can be used instead of MDCAT and the weightage of the different subjects of SAT-II should be Biology 40%, Chemistry 35%, and Physics/Maths 25%

Application Deadline

The last date for the online submission of application forms is 18th January 2021. The candidates are notified that only the online submitted applications will be considered and incomplete forms will be rejected by the higher education commission. After the submission of the application form, no changes can be made by the applicants so the candidates are advised to carefully fill the application form.
