Government of Punjab Announces The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Chief Minister Merit Scholarship Program 2020

The Higher Education department government of Punjab has recently announced the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) program 2020 for talented male and female Pakistani students. The Punjab educational endowment fund invites application to submit an application for admission and the top 50 QS ranked subject wise universities of the world. The students who have secured admission in life science medicine, Engineering and technology, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities are eligible to apply for the intake of admission in the 2020-2021 session in order to obtain Ph.D. level scholarship.

CMMS Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

1. All those students who want to apply for the Chief Minister merit scholarship program must have secured admission in one of the top 50 QS ranking subject’s wise universities of the world.
2. The students who have secured not less than 60% marks in their educational careers are eligible to apply for CMMS.
3. The candidate’s monthly income should be equal to or less than PKR 200,000 including self, spouse and parents
4. The candidates applying for CMS should not have an age limit more than 35 years on 12th May 2020
5. It is compulsory for all applicants that they should not have availed any foriegn scholarship in the past in their entire academic career

CMMS Application Submission Process

1. It is compulsory for all applicants to secure admission in top 50 QS ranking subject wise universities of the world in the subject’s areas that are determined by the government of Punjab higher education department
2. The candidates can download their scholarship application forms from Punjab educational endowment fund website
3. All applicants are advised to submit their application forms before the closing date of Chief Minister merit scholarship program

CMMS Scholarship Selection Procedure

1. All those applicants who possess the domicile of Punjab province will be given preference in scholarship selection.
2. The candidates from AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and Islamabad Capital Territory will be given a special quota for this selection procedure
3. The scholarship does not provide students with study visa applicant must have to apply for Visa to get the admission in the university
4. The candidates who are permanent/regular faculty members of government sectors or educational institutes of Pakistan cannot apply for chief Minister merit scholarship program
5. The Punjab educational endowment fund has the authority to select and reject any candidate without mentioning any specific reason during the whole selection procedure.

CMMS Application Closing Date

The candidates who want to get enrolled in the chief minister merit scholarship program announced through Punjab education endowment fund must have to submit their applications from the PEEF office until 12th May 2020.
