Quetta: Government of Balochistan has decided to provide jobs to 20,000 educated youth in the province.
The decision is expected to be officially approved in the next meeting of the district cabinet.
As per the sources, almost 20,000 jobs will be provided in a period of 90 days (3 months).

The appointments against the posts from grade 11 to 15 will be made through the National Testing Service (NTS) whereas the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) will supervise hiring on posts of grade 16 and above.
Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattha has asked for the details of all the empty posts in different provincial departments.
According to the sources, there are some 27,000 empty posts in various departments.

In addition to these jobs, the government is also trying to empower the youth by making technical training centres operative.
In this respect, the government of China has also opened a training centre for youth, he added.
“The Balochistan government will release salaries of the employees through bank accounts to make the procedure more transparent,” he said.
In some regions, salaries of government employees are still given in cash.
